Benthology / Dive sampling

Collecting benthic samples through diving is central to our research. Our certified research divers apply their expertise on location. The key advantages of dive sampling are that samples can be taken selectively (species specifically instead of randomly, e.g. marine borer and that sample sites and methods can be replicated accurately. Furthermore, dive sampling is minimally invasive, allowing sampling trials even in sensitive ecosystems and poorly accessible terrain.
