Ichthyology

Anthropogenic influences (e.g., buildings, commercial fishing, and pollutants) lead to changes in ecosystems. The department of “Ichthyology” investigates these changes on the basis of selected ecological parameters of fish communities in affected areas. We describe regional fish communities and predict future developments and environmental risks. Our service is based on firm knowledge of taxonomy, ecology and population dynamics of fish.
