GIS (Geographic Information Systems) play a central role in the utilization of spatial information.

We master all essential methods and techniques of primary data collection in terms of geometry, topology, topic and meta information: digitizing of map templates, raster-based scanning of map templates and images, manual entry of attribute data and metadata as well as the acquisition of GPS data. Similarly, the import of spatial data from external systems such as geometry data from CAD and mapping systems or other GIS attribute data from different database systems, as well as remote sensing data from image processing systems, is possible. By using different coordinate transformation software, we can process global professional coordinate transformations in high quality between international- and country-specific coordinate systems with or without date shifts.

With the help of geo-statistics and data mining, we are able to create statistically-validated spatial extrapolations and habitat modeling.
