The Institute for Applied Ecosystem Research (IfAÖ) has been offering customized and customer-oriented solutions to problems in the field of environmental protection and ecological research since 1993. Main activities are the description of marine, limnic and terrestrial ecosystems as well as the documentation, prognosis and assessment of changes caused both naturally and by human activities.
From the preparation of research concepts to the implementation of major international projects
We conduct research and provide consulting services on behalf of companies as well as state and federal authorities. We can provide the broad expertise of more than 100 employees at three locations in northern Germany and extensive technical equipment including laboratories. This enables us to offer our clients a wide range of services - from the preparation of investigation concepts to regional mapping work and procedural support for major international projects.
